I was the kid that would give home made Easy Bake Oven cakes to my friends for their birthdays. If I saw something, I wanted to know how I can make it. It was never on a technology level because I suck at math, but on a crafty level. When my friends in 6th grade were buying friendship bracelets, I was weaving that shit myself. My Lola, grandma in tagalog, saw so much potential, she taught me to embroider. I was a pretty crafty kid. If Pintrest existed when I was 10, I probably would have dominated that shit.
I'm still the same way, I have my little craft business, Mind Over Manners that I started with Anissa in Portland. My wedding was almost entirely DIY. I think all this craftyness and wanting to make things is what drives my love of making food.
So here it is a little DIY series that I think would be fun for the holidays.
This week I am going to teach you how to make your own Fireball! They make great gifts. I mean, it's up there with pasta art and an hand print in cement. I will be hosting two sessions when I will showing you how to make Fireball and then you can raid my craft boxes to make your own gift tags and wrap your own presents. There is a small donation, but you get a one of the free bottles pictured below and you can make your own label. If you really don't want to make it at least you give it to someone and fake it and say you did.

Great idea! If I could I would so be there.
